About

About me:

My name is Jonathan Morgan and I am a computer programmer, reporter and writer. I live in New York City. I work on the web site of The New York Times. I write for USC’s Online Journalism Review. I am not the famous and award-winning porn director of the same name (if you are interested in him, I’ll leave it up to you to find him online). Any opinions expressed in this site are mine and mine alone.  They should not be assumed to reflect the opinions of my employers, or my friends and family, or anyone else.

About the site:

This blog serves as a laboratory of sorts for experiments in online journalism, and as a place for my mother to read my work. I plan on writing about computers and journalism, and I will also put some of my other writing here (for mom – hi mom, if you are reading this!). I also plan on using this blog to post stories that attempt to gather and deliver information in ways that are only possible on the internet, though, so be advised – this is a work in progress and who knows what it will end up looking like. But I think it will be fun!
